How to Build an Automated Email Sequence (Nurture Campaign)

Phase 1: Creating Your Email CampaignBefore you can automate anything, you need to build the actual container that will hold your series of emails.
- Navigate to Campaigns: Go to the main menu, click on Emails, and select Campaigns.
- Create a New Campaign: Click the Create button in the top right corner. Give your campaign a clear, internal name (e.g., "Lead Magnet Nurture Sequence") and write a brief description. Click Save.
- Add Your First Email: Click on the title of your newly created campaign. Then, click Create or Add an Email to draft your first message.
- Draft the Content: Enter your subject line, select your sender name, and write your email body using either the visual editor or the classic text editor.
- Set the Timing: When saving your email, you will see an option for Delay before sending email. For the very first email (usually delivering a lead magnet or welcome message), set this to 0 hours or 0 days so it sends immediately.
- Add Subsequent Emails: Repeat the process to add your second, third, and fourth emails. For these, adjust the delay setting (e.g., set Email #2 to send 1 day after Email #1) to create a perfectly timed sequence.
Phase 2: Triggering the Automation
Now that your emails are written and sequenced, you need to tell GetWealthStack exactly when to start sending them to a new lead. We do this by setting up a simple Automation Rule inside your funnel.
- Open Your Funnel: Navigate back to Funnels and click on the funnel where you are collecting leads (e.g., your Opt-in or Squeeze Page).
- Access Automation Rules: Click on the specific funnel step where the user enters their email address. In the step menu, click on the Automation rules tab.
- Add a Trigger: Click Add rule and select Funnel step form subscribed. This tells the system to activate whenever someone submits their contact info on this exact page.
- Add an Action: Click on the rule you just created to open it. Click Add action and choose Subscribe to campaign.
- Select Your Campaign: A dropdown menu will appear. Select the email campaign you built in Phase 1 (e.g., "Lead Magnet Nurture Sequence").
- Save the Rule: Click Save rule to activate the automation.
