The Application Funnel (a staple strategy from Russell Brunson's DotCom Secrets) flips the script. Instead of chasing clients, you position yourself as the prize. You require prospects to apply for the privilege of working with you. This filters out the tire-kickers and ensures you only spend time on the phone with highly qualified leads who can afford your fees.
Here is how to build a fully automated Application Funnel inside GetWealthStack.
Phase 1: Designing Your Application Page (The Filter)
The core of this funnel is the questionnaire page. We will use GetWealthStack’s form elements and custom fields to collect deep qualifying data before letting them book a call.
Step-by-Step Setup:
- Create the Funnel Step: Open your funnel dashboard, click + Add Step, name it "Application Form", and choose Squeeze Page or Inline Form as the step type.
- Open the Editor: Choose a minimalist, professional template and click Edit Page.
- Add the Questionnaire Fields: Drag multiple Form Input elements onto the canvas. Click on each input field to configure its data type on the left panel:
- Use standard fields for basic info: First Name, Email, Phone Number.
- Create Custom Fields for your qualifying questions (e.g., "What is your current monthly business revenue?", "What is your biggest roadblock right now?", "Do you have capital ready to invest in your growth?").

Configure the Submit Button: Click your main submission button. In the left-hand settings panel, set the Action when button clicked to Send form, and set the redirect destination to To the next step. This ensures their answers are saved into your CRM before they move forward.

Save Changes: Click Save Changes and exit the editor.
Phase 2: Setting Up the Booking Page
Once a prospect passes the form, they land on the second step of your funnel to pick a time on your calendar.
- Add the Booking Step: Create a new step right below your application form called "Schedule Your Call" using a standard Thank You page type.
- Embed Your Calendar: Open the page editor. Drag an Raw HTML element onto the page.
- Paste Your Code: Click the HTML element, open the code editor on the left, and paste your calendar embed script (such as a Calendly, Zoho Bookings, or YouCanBookMe widget).

Save and Exit: Save your page. Now, only people who successfully fill out the intense questionnaire in Phase 1 will ever see this booking page.
- Create an Automation Rule: Click on your Application Form funnel step and select the Automation rules tab at the top.
- Set the Trigger: Click Add rule and choose Funnel step form subscribed.
- Add Actions: Click on the rule to edit it, and add two critical actions:
- Add a tag: Apply a tag like Lead: High-Ticket Applicant.
- Send email to a specific address: Enter your own personal email address. Write a notification template using substitute variables (e.g., "New Application Received from {contact.first_name}! Review their dashboard profile before your call.").

Save the Rule: Click Save rule to activate your automated screening team.
The Architect's Pro-Tip: The psychology of a high-ticket application relies entirely on posture. If your form is too short, people won't value the call. Do not be afraid to ask tough, direct financial questions. If someone refuses to tell you their current revenue or their budget limits on a text form, they will certainly freeze up when you ask for a credit card on the phone. Make the hurdle high enough that only your dream clients clear it.
